Navtech engineers have been involved with GPS since its development in the early 1980’s and have monitored the evolution of this significant technology to the present day. We offer a number of GPS Compass models which provide dynamic True North Heading from two GPS antennae, together with precision, sub-meter accuracy using SBAS techniques to refine the position. Versions are available with and without integrated antennas and with different serial interfaces (RS-232, RS-485 or Ethernet).
Our range of GPS Antenna splitters allows for several GPS receivers to receive their signals from one antenna. For the military and paramilitary user both the L1 & L2 frequencies are amplified and distributed as required. Dual, Quad & Hex splitters are available, usually off the shelf and supplied with the appropriate documentation when used in aircraft applications.
Atomic accuracy timing products have been developed to use the highly accurate 1 second timing from GPS to provide NPL time code and a frequency standard, phase locked to the GPS atomic clocks. Enhancement of the traditional MSF low frequency time signal is provided by our dual GPS/MSF Atomic Time Reference.
